Here we are! We’ve arrived at the last day of the 2019 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. But before we wrap up, we have tons of fun planned for you today on Granville Island. Let’s celebrate Canada Day with free music, friends & family, and fun in the sun. Pack your sunscreen, wear your comfy shoes, and come on down!
HOT TIP-DON’T DRIVE! RIDE OR WALK OR TRANSIT
Granville Island is closed to traffic after 10AM!
There will be a bike valet! Lock your bike up in style and safely. You may have seen the bike valet at Downtown Jazz (see the smiling faces below) and at David Lam Park. The one on Granville Island is located in the old carving shed next to the public market.
TONS TO DO AND SEE!
Anyone who’s been to Granville Island knows that you’ll have your pick of food and drink. Between the Public Market, all of the amazing restaurants and cafés, and food kiosks – you are covered. You’ll also be able to enjoy organic beers from gold sponsor Mill Street – served at Performance Works and the Railspur District Stage. There will lots of activities for kids, adults, and kids at heart. Who knows? You may kick up your heels and join the swing dancers too.
