The Vancouver International Jazz Festival will take place June 26 to July 5th, 2026. We are now accepting applications for food trucks to participate in the Downtown Jazz Weekend at the Vancouver Art Gallery šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square on June 27th and 28th. Each year this weekend draws more than 20,000 people over 2 days with 20 free, all-ages concerts. Our Food Vendor area is spread along Howe and Georgia St., providing vendors an excellent opportunity to increase their exposure to festival audiences and downtown crowds. Food and market vendor operating hours will be 12:30pm – 9:30pm. Please note that this is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine.

Food Vendors

We encourage applications from vendors who offer a variety of affordable, healthy, nutritious food choices and represent the diversity of Vancouver’s food scene.

  • Vendors must be in compliance with BC’s Food Premises Regulation and show consistent operations in a FoodSafe manner.
  • Vendors must have a valid business license and minimum $2M general liability insurance coverage.
  • Must be experienced operating in high volume environments.
  • Participation includes vending space along Howe or Georgia Street. Water and power will not be available.
  • There is opportunity for one cart to operate within the licensed beer garden in the plaza; this location cannot accommodate trucks.
  • No single serve plastic containers are permitted on the site. Acceptable alternatives must be provided.
  • Overnight security will not be provided and trucks are not permitted to park overnight.
  • In 2026, the food vendor fee will be a flat fee of $750 for the weekend or $400 for a single day payable in advance of the Festival.
  • Coastal Jazz will assign vendor space at their discretion and reserve the right to reassign space or alter the layout at any time.

In addition to Downtown Jazz, we also have limited space for one truck per night at our Ocean Artworks venue on Granville Island. Available nights are June 27, 28, July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Applications for the 2026 Festival are now closed. 2027 Applications will open in late March 2027.
