After two consecutive years of sold-out shows, La Fabrique St. George Winery returns as a part of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Located in the trendy neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant, this stylish, urban winery has become a beloved hotspot for live music lovers and wine enthusiasts alike. La Fabrique St. George Winery regularly features an array of music with Wednesday evening bands playing traditional, New Orleans, Latin, or gypsy jazz to lively, joyous crowds. On Saturday afternoons, bands play a mix of standards and original music for a softer and soothing welcome to the weekend.
The sense of connection here runs deeper than the music. Many musicians at La Fabrique have shared the stage with close friends, and that chemistry is palpable. It’s no wonder the venue draws a loyal following, with past performances from acclaimed artists like Sharon Minemoto, Oliver Gannon, Bill Coon, and Dave Sikula — and rarely an empty seat in sight. This year’s lineup continues the tradition of excellence, featuring standout acts such as the Bonnie Northgraves Quartet, Chris Gestrin Trio, and Sharon Minemoto Quartet, among others.

With an extensive and proudly local wine list, one could expect to sip on some of the finest skin- contact and orange wines alongside the show. For the wine enthusiasts, the Amber 7 is especially popular, with the experience sealed by the fact that it’s sold by the bottle to experience white wine in a way made by ancient method and tradition. La Fabrique St. George is also home to market style dining, allowing you to carefully select your own pairings for a charcuterie board, from the ripest seasonal fruit, fresh bread and a selection of wonderful cheese – with the Kabrit or St. George goat’s cheese being unique and local standouts.
