Tony Wilson’s Tribute to Sonny Greenwich

Guitarist Tony Wilson, pianist Chris Gestrin, bassist André Lachance and drummer Dylan van der Schyff pay tribute to the great Canadian guitarist Sonny Greenwich. Sonny Greenwich came to prominence in the 1970s and his career spanned several decades. His very original style combines the phrasing of jazz great Grant Green and the spiritual qualities of John Coltrane’s music. The band will be performing tunes by Sonny and a few original compositions by Tony Wilson.
