The Alan Matheson / Juli Wood Quartet will swing you into good health! They will play standards from the Great American Songbook as well as some jazz standards from Monk, Wayne Shorter, Horace Silver, Clark Terry and more. Alan Matheson, piano and trumpet, Jazz Palley, bass and Craig Scott, drums , are all veterans of the Vancouver jazz scene. Alan met Chicago’s Juli Wood, tenor sax and vocals, on one of his summer trips to Finland. They had such fun playing together in Helsinki, they’ve decided to try it again in Vancouver!
