Inspired by keyboard-bass bands such as Chris Potter’s Underground Band; Joshua Redman’s Elastic Band; Medeski, Martin, and Wood; and Soulive; subCurrent explores a variety of modern funk and jazz fusion music. The band lays down solid grooves, while simultaneously taking listeners on an improvisatory odyssey.
