Inspired by an incredible concert of four of the world’s top vibes players, Nick Apivor has created a new group to explore the music of jazz mallet percussionists. Take in tunes from the swing of Lionel Hampton to the blues and bop of Milt Jackson, from the cool Latin style of Cal Tjader to the harmonic explorations of Gary Burton. With Nick Apivor vibes, marimba and percussion, Craig Scott vibes, marimba and steel pans, Nick Peck piano, Cameron Hood bass, and Buff Allen drums.
