Vancouver-based guitarist David Sikula leads this quartet through a series of his original compositions as well as tunes by some of his favourite composers of the past century. With a tight-yet-loose approach applied to everything from driving grooves to group improvisations, this quartet makes music with a cohesive, dynamic, and nimble approach that is at once highly melodic, intimate, and rich with texture and tone.
