Bonnie Northgraves is a Canadian trumpeter, vocalist, and pianists based in Vancouver, BC. For this jazz fest performance she’ll be taking to the stage with her hot four: Joe Abbott on clarinet, Joseph Lubinsky-Mast on bass, and Josh Roberts on guitar. You can expect an evening of rollicking hot jazz perfectly paired with uproarious tales and anecdotes.

Her singing is smokey, rich, and explorative, and her trumpet playing a call to the early jazz styles of New Orleans while being lyrically intriguing, evolved, and playful. With one foot rooted in heritage and one leading forward she is a musical powerhouse that is exciting, joyful and chock full of personality.
