New York-based Big Lazy’s music falls somewhere between sultry lounge-jazz and fractured surf-pop. The slinky, smoky vibe evokes film-noir soundtracks, dark alleys and finger-snapping beat poets. Lead guitarist Stephen Ulrich is the composer for the HBO series Bored to Death. The New Yorker calls his music “stunningly beautiful.” With Andrew Hall bass and Yuvall Lion drums.
