Pianist, composer & arranger Nick Peck is frequently called on as an accompanist for his knowledge of the history of jazz piano and ability to shift from hard-swinging jazz to pastoral serenity or elements of the contemporary classical tradition at the drop of a hat, with both hands equally creative on the keyboard in a manner that is both constantly engaging and accessible. This performance will give the trio a chance to stretch out on some swinging arrangements and standards in the spirit of Benny Green, Hank Jones, Cedar Walton, Erroll Garner & Dudley Moore.
