Drawing from the roots of choro, forró, samba, baião, bossa nova, and jazz, Amphibioux honours the musical giants that came before them, while joyfully adding their own present-day ripples of inspiration. The core group of Julia Farry bass, Mauricio Zani piano, Choenden Kyirong trombone, and Tiago Cavalcanti percussion will be joined by a trio of honorary Amphibians in Connor Lum reeds, Liam MacDonald percussion, and Sara Magal vocals.
