April is Jazz Appreciation Month!
In celebration, we’ve created a line of eCards for you to share with fellow music lovers in your life featuring quotes from jazz greats like Thelonius Monk, Wynton Marsalis, George Gershwin, and Miles Davis. Each one supports Coastal Jazz. For as little as a $1 donation, you can share your love of jazz while helping us with our mission to connect, transform, inspire and nurture artists and audiences through the joy, passion, and power of jazz.
We want to spread the love of this genre far and wide all month long. The fun leads up to International Jazz Day on April 30, an annual day of recognition established in 2011 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) with jazz legend Herbie Hancock, who served as a UNESCO Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue and Chairman of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz.
