Our Friends and Club Partners: Guilt & Co.

It’s been a long few months, but our persistence with staying away from each other is paying off. As BC slowly reopens, Coastal Jazz is pleased to help spread the word that some of our festival club partners have the capacity to start reopening!

This week, we’re featuring Guilt & Company to give you the lowdown on what to expect as we all navigate the future of live performance together.

Who’s opening back up? Guilt & Company
Where? 1 Alexander St, Vancouver, BC

What can people expect from a visit?

As we re-open our doors, things may seem slightly different. But we will always be Guilt&Co; we will have music, we will have cocktails, and it’s the same room we all love. While we take these first steps of our reopening, we remind you that the changes in the room for the sake of everyone’s safety are only temporary and circumstantial. At some point down the road we will again dance, high-five, share a story with a stranger, and fill our stage with as many musicians as humanly possible. We would love for you join us in the meantime with confidence that we are doing everything possible to keep you safe.

We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we tip-toe through these constantly changing times. But the anticipation is real — we can’t wait to see you again!

Give us the goods; tell us about the live music!

We will be open seven days a week with music every day. Our regular programming is one act for three sets from 9pm to 12am, but most nights we will also have an ‘early show’ which is one set from 7-8pm.  Doors open at 6pm and we close at 12am.

Admission is a minimum $15 donation to the show.

The full list of artists can be found here.

A Word about safety

We have many additional safety procedures in place to help protect guests and staff from COVID -19 and we’re happy to welcome everyone back for live music.  Unfortunately, there is no dancing permitted and everyone must remain seated with the party they arrived with. We’re also operating at a reduced capacity to ensure social distancing.
