Van Django is a Vancouver-based string swing quartet rooted in the gypsy jazz traditions of 1930s Paris, blending virtuosity, charm, and infectious energy. Since forming in 1998, the group has toured extensively across Canada and internationally, with performances in the United States, Europe, and China. A favourite at Djangofest Northwest, Van Django has shared the stage with celebrated artists including the John Jorgenson Quintet and Romane, while their recordings have received international radio play on CBC, NPR, and beyond.
