Formed in 2010 after decades of musical mentorship, friendship and collaboration, the East-West Trumpet Summit is led by two of the more dynamic and versatile trumpeters anywhere, Ray Vega & Thomas Marriott. Continuing the tradition of fabled trumpet duos that include Joe Oliver & Louis Armstrong, Fats Navarro & Howard McGhee, and Freddie Hubbard & Woody Shaw, the East-West Trumpet Summit is a celebration of fellowship and teamwork. With Thomas Marriott and Ray Vega trumpet, John Lee bass, Tilden Webb piano and legendary Roy McCurdy drums.
