Montreal’s mystical, morphing Thus Owls cross-pollinates artful chamber pop with “swirling, forceful and textured modern rock” (Wall Street Journal).
For this Festival performance, Simon Angell guitar and Erika Angell voice/keys stretch their already unusual indie-pop/avant-jazz compositions into new and surprising shapes with Samuel Joly drums/vocals, Vancouver saxophonist Chris Kelly, and acclaimed Swedish vocalist/saxophonist Lisen Rylander Löve.
