Ballads, Bossas, and Blues are a Vancouver-based band formed in 2016 to play the compositions of bandleader Jake Huse. They combine contemporary jazz with influences from reggae, African and groove music and often explore polyrhythms, polymetre and odd-time signatures. They have released two EP’s on Bandcamp, with the latest, 2, in 2024.

Featuring: Jake Huse tenor saxophone/composition, James Huumo keys, Dan Howard bass, Andrew Wilson drums, TBA trumpet.

Set times:
1st – 6:15pm – 7:45pm
2nd – 8:30pm – 9:45pm
