The Thad Bailey-Mai Quartet is a colourful mosaic of inspirations. Thad’s trumpet playing draws from many different branches of the jazz lineage, old and new, while his genre-defying compositions are built on memorable melodies, adventurous harmonic paths, and cinematic approaches to form. Thad’s stellar quartet features NYC-based guitarist David Blake and the Montréal-based rhythm section of Mili Hong drums and Eli Davidovici bass.
