With “The Three” (pianist Ben Sigerson, bassist Wynston Minckler, and drummer Tyler Murray), Vancouver-based vocalist Teresa Marie finds magic in soulful interpretations of the Great American Songbook. For this performance, the band is joined by Jennifer Scott, one of Teresa’s mentors from Capilano University’s Jazz program. Lauded as “an important Jazz Voice” by the San Jose Journal, Scott has been nominated for JUNO and Jessie Awards and sung with jazz greats like Jon Batiste, Clark Terry, Tommy Banks, and Kenny Wheeler.
