Presented by Michael Kim, the co-leader of the Vancouver Legacy Jazz Orchestra, Super Trumpets is a powerhouse ensemble composed of five of Vancouver’s finest trumpet players plus a rhythm section. They’ll play arrangements and originals by international trumpet luminaries, some of Vancouver’s most accomplished musicians, and up-and-comers. With Michael Kim, Derry Byrne, Brad Turner, Jocelyn Waugh, Daniel Hersog trumpets, Winston Matsushita piano, Graham Clark bass, and Bernie Arai drums.
