Bassist/Composer/Leader Steve Lloyd Smith is a respected musician in Canada and the United States. Performing, writing and recording now for over three decades, he has had the privilege and honour to record with many significant jazz artists including Richie Beirach, Billy Hart, Adam Rogers, Clarence Penn, Taylor Eigsti, and Eric Harland.

For this special event leading up to the 2019 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Smith performs his original compositions with a stellar quartet – Dave Say tenor saxophone, Jillian Lebeck piano, Steve Smith bass, and Joe Poole drums.
