A resident of Vancouver since 2008, Steve Kaldestad has established himself as one of the most in-demand saxophonists on the scene, performing as a member of the Dan Brubeck Quartet, Jesse Cahill’s Nightcrawlers, the Jodi Proznick Quartet, the Jill Townsend Jazz Orchestra, and many other groups. Steve has released 4 CDs on the Cellar Live label to great acclaim including his latest, Live at Frankie’s, and New York Afternoon featuring Canadian jazz master Renee Rosnes. The Steve Kaldestad Trio features Steve Kaldestad sax, Steve Holy bass & Dave Sikula guitar.
