An exploration of storytelling through sound, Spindle! artfully enlivens the senses. Vocalist/composer Kria Wall uses personal lyricism and a broad palette of compositional colours to delve into a space between art music and jazz, and between memory and narrative. Her seven-piece band features Katie Stewart violin, Madeleine Elkins guitar, Thad Bailey-Mai trumpet, Thomas Hoeller guitar, Sydney Tough bass, and Jamie Lee drums.
