Vancouver bassist Russ Botten’s swinging feel and big bass sound has made him a top call player in the city. For this evening only Russ has assembled a band featuring saxophonist Steve Kaldestad and special guests to play the music of piano legend Cedar Walton. Russ has toured in the US and Japan with jazz vocalist Ernestine Anderson, and has played with Renee Rosnes, Diana Krall, Herb Ellis, Bud Shank, and David “Fathead” Newman.
