Omianan’s omnivorous alt-jazz appetite feeds on indie rock, pop, prog, free improv, and blues. Emerging Vancouver players Jesus Caballero drums, Thomas Hoeller guitar, Nikko Whitworth bass, and Sara Kim vocals bring together wistful lyrics, knotty interlocking rhythms, and loose free-time melodies. Their challenging and enchanting debut album Paper Dream was released in February 2022, and the band was just nominated for Global Artist of the Year by the Western Canadian Music Awards!
