Vancouver-based singer/keyboardist/composer Kristin Fung slides smoothly between funk, R&B, “soulful grace, and jazzy joy” (From The Intercom). Fung’s playful, high-energy arrangements and uplifting originals showcase her powerhouse lungs and funky piano chops, evoking the likes of Alicia Keys and Patrice Rushen. A charismatic performer with an “astonishing vocal range” (Pancouver), Kristin’s upcoming projects include the release of her electro-R&B single “Why Don’t You Dance”, co-writing with JUNO-winning songwriter Jacq Teh, and debuting The No Sweet Carolines—Canada’s first Asian women-led R&B dueling pianos act with Sing! China finalist, ZiZi.
