Formed a decade ago, the Kristian Braathen Trio has developed its signature sound from influences such as Ray Brown Trio, Bill Charlap Trio, and Jacky Terrasson. Performing original compositions, as well as intricate arrangements of jazz standards and contemporary music, the trio features Kristian Braathen drums, Nick Peck piano, and Paul Rushka acoustic bass.
