DjangoSphere is jazz violinist Kit Eakle’s project in celebration of two of the most unique composers in jazz, Thelonious Sphere Monk and Django Reinhardt. Eakle is joined by two of Vancouver’s finest guitarists, Paul Pigat, and Michael Dunn, and bassist Brent Gubbels rounds out the quartet. Eakle will perform tunes from his recent recording with 7-string guitar great, Howard Alden.
