Vocalist Darlene Ketchum and pianist Bill Sample began writing together a few years ago and have just completed an album of original tunes. Their music is a bit bluesy, a bit funky, with some smoky ballads. Influences include Nancy Wilson, Doug Riley and more recently Snarky Puppy. With Miles Hill on bass, Randall Stoll on drums, and Bill Runge on saxophone.
