Jerry Cook Quartet
Tenor saxophonist Jerry Cook has been a staple of the Vancouver blues and roots music scene for over 30 years and now makes his Frankie’s debut. Influenced by Stanley Turrentine and Gene Harris, he’s put together a stellar jazz quartet to play soulful standards, ballads, and originals. The Quartet will be recording it’s first album (on Cellar Live) shortly after this performance.
With special guest David Sikula guitar, Chris Gestrin piano, John Lee bass, and Jesse Cahill drums.
