An unusual interplay featuring the Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble and a trio led by bassist and composer Jodi Proznick. Chinese instrumentalists, Jirong Huang erhu, Sarah Yusha Tan guzheng, and Zhongxi Wu suona are joined by Jodi, Bill Coon guitar, and James Danderfer clarinet/sax for new arrangements of Chinese traditional songs, jazz standards, and rarely heard tunes. Concertgoers can enjoy the garden prior to the show.
