Pax Mergana is a Vancouver-based project spearheaded by the instrumentalist/production duo of saxophonist David Mergens and guitarist Tristan Paxton. Mergens is a fixture in the Vancouver music scene, playing and recording in a variety of genres. Paxton is one of the city’s most in-demand live and session players. All artists associated with Pax Mergana contribute to a lively sound that blends elements of funk, fusion, soul, and electronic music. Pax Mergana’s self-titled debut album was released in December of 2022 and is available on all popular streaming services.
