“Very, very good avant fusion” (Guitar Player magazine) captures the essence of The Elliot Freedman Group’s music. Harmonically elegant, rhythmically muscular, and an uncompromisingly adventurous update on the electric jazz of the 1970’s.

Elliot, whose baritone guitars accentuate his innovative chordal work, will be joined by Vancouver drummer Paul Mason and Victoria bassist Ashlin Richardson.

He will augment the group’s presentation of his own compositions with solo classical guitar performances of compositions by Keith Jarrett, Kenny Wheeler, Bill Evans, and others.
