From the roots of Afro-Cuban music to Clavé infused Jazz and Funk classics, this group will illuminate and illustrate the historical and evolving intersection of Jazz and traditional Afro-Latin music. Influenced by Afro-Cuban Jazz pioneers including Machito, Mario Bauza, Mongo Santamaria, Tata Guines, and Irakere – Conga Cartel never fails to knock your socks off.

This stellar lineup features GRAMMY and JUNO award-winning musicians as well as esteemed music educators. With Saul Berson saxophones, Lou Mastroianni piano, Andre Lachance bass, Jack Duncan percussion, and Phil Belanger drums.
