Tenor saxophonist Benny Sharoni is a bandleader, composer, and arranger who is a mainstay in the U.S and European jazz scenes. Through a fusion of classic bop influences – including Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, and Steve Grossman – Sharoni flavors his music with Latin rhythms and an energetic drive that delights audiences worldwide. The repertoire includes unique arrangements of standards from the American Songbook, as well as dynamic original compositions.
