Haunting and sophisticated, Vancouver native Alicia Hansen’s “ethereal voice and classically informed arrangements come together in experimental pop that’s both listenable and challenging” (NOW Magazine). She has recorded four full-length albums of original material, the newest of which was produced by Polaris-prize-winning producer Jesse Zubot, releasing this May. Her sublime band features Ben Brown (drums), James Meger (bass), Peggy Lee (cello), and Lee Hutzulak (electronics).
