Coastal Jazz is thrilled to welcome back BCLC as a major partner of the 2025 Vancouver International Jazz Festival, and the return of the BCLC Community Ticketing Program. This initiative provides complimentary tickets to local not-for-profit societies and/or charities. Organizations can apply for up to four (4) tickets each for a performance at the Vancouver Playhouse, Performance Works or Ocean Artworks during the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
The BCLC Community Ticketing Program was a standout feature of the 2024 Vancouver International Jazz Festival, exemplifying BCLC’s commitment to community engagement and support for local non-profit organizations. Over 128 tickets were distributed to 16 non-profits and charities.
83% of participants said they would not have been able to attend this event without the support of the program.
Recipients of the 2024 BCLC Community Ticketing Program included BC Council for Families, Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – British Columbia, Eastside Arts Society, Environmental Youth Alliance, Everywoman’s Health Centre, Fresh Roots Urban Farm Society, Island Sexual Health, Kickstand Community Bikes, ONE TO ONE Literacy, Pain BC Society, Seniors Services Society of BC, SHARE Family and Community Services, Shekinah Homes Society, Vancouver Food Runners, Society Vancouver Youth Choir, and the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC.

“Our centre was so grateful to receive free tickets to the Jazz Festival for staff and volunteers. We work in a difficult field serving people at what can be a very emotional time and it was amazing for our staff to be able to enjoy amazing music and unwind without having to worry about the cost.”
“It was wonderful. As a registered charity, we don’t have the funds to attend such an event as a team. To be able to enjoy a night of music together builds connection between our team members, and it’s simply an opportunity to relax from our daily work of providing food to nonprofit organizations across Vancouver.”
