Feb 18, 2022

The Coastal Jazz & Blues Society is pleased to announce Cole Schmidt and Jeremy Page as its Interim Artistic Programming team effective immediately.

Protégés of former Managing Director of Artistic Programming, Rainbow Robert, Cole and Jeremy have been with CJBS since 2017. They have assisted Robert in programing the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival from 2018-2022, and have been the programming team behind events such as Winter Jazz, IronFest: A Fall Jazz Concert Series, and IronFest 2: Electric Boogaloo, which opens tonight at The Ironworks. Together, Cole and Jeremy will continue to work on completing the program for the 2022 Festival.

“Cole and Jeremy’s artistic voice has been an integral part of the Festival over the past five years,” says Executive Director, Nina Horvath. “I look forward to working closely with them over the coming months to help bring that vision to life and carry on Coastal Jazz’s legacy and commitment to the artistic life of Vancouver.”

The 36th edition of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is scheduled to take place June 24-July 3, 2022. Lineup announcements will be made in the coming months.
