ABOUT THE ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Throughout its history, Coastal Jazz has successfully presented a meaningful balance of musical tradition, innovation and experimentation to connect, transform, inspire and nurture artists and audiences through the joy, passion, and power of jazz.

The Coastal Jazz Artist Residency Program is an opportunity for local, national and international musicians to meaningfully connect with the Vancouver community of artists and audiences.

Gifts of $1,000 or more are eligible for special recognition, and can be directed toward the presentation of specific artists.

Artists who will visit us during the winter/spring season include NY trumpeter Jeremy Pelt with his Black Art Jazz Collective, David Weiss, Peggy Lee’s Echo Painting project, and Buddy Guy.

Become an Artist Residency Patron and help bring jazz music to jazz audiences.

All Artist Residency Patron Levels have the opportunity to attend the concert, and receive special recognition as concert supporter in our guidebook, on our website, and from the stage if desired.
