Allen was met by legends bassist Peter Washington and drummer Lewis Nash and they recorded what would become Just Like Magic. The album has garnered wonderful reviews worldwide. DESCRIPTION:Flora Scott is a jazz guitarist\, vocalist\, and songwriter\, releasing her third CD comprising all original tunes blending genres of jazz\, Latin\, singer-songwriter\, and middle-eastern jazz.  There are 12 international musicians on the recording\, which was produced partly in Canada and partly at a studio just outside of London\, England. Flora has studied voice with Dee Daniels and Jay Clayton in New York as well as guitar\, and now performs in and around Vancouver and Victoria. \nThe Flora Scott Quintet includes Chris Jeffries trumpet\, Nick Apivor vibes/percussion\, Graham Clark bass\, Buff Allen drums\, and John Stetch piano.
