SUMMARY:Louie Quinn Band with Special Guest Cecile LaRochelle
DESCRIPTION:Louis Quinn is comprised of established top Vancouver jazz\, funk\, and blues musicians Doug Louie on piano and Dave Quinn on clarinet and saxophone. The band collaborate to write\, perform\, and record original material that is funk driven with rhythm and soul that stands outside the box.  Tight harmonic vocals\, burning sax\, and a driving rhythm section spells out “Now Hear This!” Guest vocalist Cecile Larochelle has had a lifelong career as a jazz\, pop\, and rock vocalist on stage\, television\, and studio projects.  She has worked with Rita MacNeil\, Jon Bon Jovi\, Long John Baldry\, and many more.  She currently teaches “the Mix”\, an internationally renowned vocal singing technique of our her Vancouver  studio and performs often at the Revel Room. \nphoto credit: Vincent L Chan
