Touching on post-bop\, 70s jazz fusion\, 20th-century minimalism\, and hints of head-bobbing 90’s hip-hop\, the Grammy-nominated group brings explosive rock energy and nuanced ensemble playing to their compositions\, and no-hold-barred adventurism to their improv. \nKneebody is keyboardist Adam Benjamin\, trumpeter Shane Endsley\, saxophonist Ben Wendel\, and Nate Wood on bass and drums (simultaneously!). \nSince their 2005 debut on Dave Douglas’ Greenleaf Music Label\, Kneebody have released critically-acclaimed albums on labels like Colortone\, Concord\, Motéma\, Winter & Winter\, Edition\, and Brainfeeder.
