DESCRIPTION:Prolific Brooklyn-based saxophonist Noah Preminger is a winner of a Downbeat Magazine’s Rising Star Best Tenor Saxophonist award\, and has recorded over twelve critically acclaimed albums. The New York Times declares: “Mr. Preminger designs a different kind of sound for each note\, an individual destiny and story.”  Recent releases include Meditations On Freedom\, a duo album with pianist Frank Carlberg\, and a recording of the music of Otto Preminger’s films. He has played and/or recorded with the likes of Dave Holland\, John Patitucci\, Rob Garcia\, Joe Lovano\, Victor Lewis\, John and Bucky Pizzarelli\, and Roscoe Mitchell.
