DESCRIPTION:*RSVPs are now closed for this performance. But don’t despair! We anticipate having capacity for a limited number of walk-up tickets. If you’d like to attend\, we recommend arriving by 12:30pm and planning for a short time in an outdoor line-up. \n\nVancouver-based guitarist David Sikula leads this quartet through a series of his original compositions as well as tunes by some of his favourite composers of the past century.  With a tight-yet-loose approach applied to everything from driving grooves to group improvisations\, this quartet makes music with a cohesive\, dynamic\, and nimble approach that is at once highly melodic\, intimate\, and rich with texture and tone. \nWith Jon Bentley saxophone\, James Meger bass\, and Joe Poole drums. \nTwo sets beginning at 1pm \n\nRSVP for this free show and guarantee admittance!\nWalk-ups welcome if capacity allows. \nAll RSVPs entered to win a pair of tickets to Hiromi at the Vancouver Playhouse\, June 23 (during the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival). \nMade possible with the financial support of
