These three talented musicians relish creating music together and revel in the trio’s magical interplay. While Bill Coon’s playing is steeped in blues and post-bop\, his sound and soulful approach are unique and engaging. Conrad Good plays bass with verve and precision\, and when he solos\, you hear that he’s a superb improvisor. Joe Poole is a drummer’s drummer\, excelling in a diverse range of jazz styles\, and always playing the perfect groove. His solos are full of wit and wonderful surprises. The Bill Coon Trio features Bill Coon archtop guitar\, Conrad Good acoustic bass\, Joe Poole drums.
