DESCRIPTION:Prado Monroe is an Afro-Métis\, Vancouver-based polymath who bends Alt-Pop\, Electronic\, Rap\, and Hyperpop into a sound entirely her own. After breaking out with her ZDBT collaboration Elastic and earning global attention\, she returns in 2026 with new music on HOTLORD—bringing her unapologetic\, larger-than-life performance energy back to the stage. \nZDBT (Zachary David Boynton Treble) is a Vancouver producer\, DJ\, and live performer known for his expansive\, genre-spanning sound. With releases on Ghostly\, Specials Worldwide\, ISLA\, and Delicate Records\, he joins Prado Monroe live on July 4 for a dynamic set of vocals and electronics in conversation. \n5 Nights in Paradise is a late-night series at Ocean Artworks on Granville Island\, running across five evenings of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Co-presented by UV\, Paradise Cultural Society\, and Coastal Jazz\, the series brings together some of the most respected selectors and performers from Vancouver’s soulful underground and independent music communities — artists rooted in the city who have spent years shaping its dance floors\, record culture\, and DIY creative scene.
