How it works

 

Volunteering for the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is a great way to hear amazing music, make new friends, and gain work experience or school credit. Registration and general scheduling for the 2013 TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is now completed.

Once you are registered as a volunteer we’ll start sending you information about important dates, volunteer perks, crew orientation, your volunteer package and the Festival Wrap Party. During the Festival you work your shifts, see some shows and have a fantastic and rewarding experience.

 

Volunteers get perks

 

Volunteers get exclusive benefits not available to anyone else. As a volunteer you get to see shows, a souvenir t-shirt and more. Click here to check out our 2013 Volunteer Benefits.

As a volunteer you receive two tickets to select performances. Plus! Your Jazz Festival ID is your access to volunteer-only rush tickets. Each day of the festival at 5pm we will update volunteer ticket availability. Many shows are in high demand—arrive at least 1 hour before the start of show to ensure your best chance to get into your show.

 

Volunteer Centre Hours

 

Once you are confirmed and scheduled as a volunteer, your first stop is to pick up your volunteer package at the Jazz Festival Volunteer Centre located at 295 West 7th Avenue. The Centre is also a great place to get answers to any additional questions you may have about your volunteer experience. Volunteer Packages include your volunteer schedule, information about your volunteer benefits, t-shirt and Jazz Festival ID giving exclusive volunteer access to select performances. Package pick up is a requirement to volunteer.

Monday June 17 to June 20  10am-7pm
June 21 to June 28  12pm-5pm
