“Pink Martini’s live show conjures a fantasy of ageless glamor.” – Jazz Times
The exciting 12-piece Pink Martini band falls somewhere between a 1930’s Cuban dance orchestra, a classical music ensemble, a Brazilian marching street band, and Japanese film noir. The Portland, Oregon-based “little orchestra” performs a mixed bag of swinging Afro-Cuban rhythms, Parisian café tunes, Caribbean calypso, and Hollywood golden-era string arrangements at sold out concerts around the world. The group’s eighth studio album, Dream a Little Dream, continues to traverse the globe, from Sweden to Rwanda to China and to Bavaria, featuring guest appearances by The Chieftains, among others.
