  • Over half of the shows (150) at the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival are free to the public 

  • We present free music education programs for youth and emerging artists
  • We give over $12,000.00 in scholarships each year to emerging artists.
  • Our mandate includes subsidizing unique collaborations between international and local artists and making Vancouver a center for creative improvised jazz.

None of this would be possible without you – our generous donors.  As a non-profit charitable organization, we rely on your support for to continue providing these vital free concerts and education programs.

There are several ways to donate to the society:

Become a Jazz Friend

As a Jazz Friend, you also automatically become a voting member of the society and get a low $1 service charge on all your ticket purchases in addition to your tax receipt and other benefits (see below).

Jazz Friends Benefits:

Student/Senior/Volunteer Jazz Friend $25

  • A $1 service charge (on a maximum of two tickets per event) for all Jazz Festival and year-round shows
  • Membership in the Coastal Jazz & Blues Society
  • Access to tickets before they go on-sale to the public
  • Access to special offers on music through our community partners throughout the year
  • Exclusive personalized customer service through the CJBS Box Office

Jazz Friend $50+

  • All of the above plus:
  • A tax receipt for the amount of your contribution over $50
  • Your name listed in festival guide and on our website

Jazz Friend Supporter $100+

  • All of the above plus:
  • Discount on Jazz Festival and year-round ticket purchases
  • Access to the Best Seats in the House when you make your purchase through the CJBS box office
  • Free Festival T-shirt
  • A tax receipt for the amount of your contribution over $75

Jazz Friend Benefactor $250 +

  • All of the above plus:
  • 2 complimentary tickets to the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival's 
exclusive invitation-only Opening Party
  • A tax receipt for the amount of your contribution over $75

Jazz Friend Patron $500 +

  • All of the above plus:
  • Two complimentary tickets to a Marquee Show during the Jazz Festival
  • A tax receipt for the amount of your contribution over $130

Jazz Lover $1,000 +

  • We'll work with you to design a personalized benefit package that best suits your interests.

Jazz Friends benefits apply for a full year from the date of your donation.
